The Australian Centre for Event Management (ACEM) announces the new UTS Event and Olympic Studies On-line Collection. The on-line collection is unique in Australia and Internationally.

Events Tasmania Events Tasmania is a business unit of Tourism Tasmania in the recently created Department of Economic Development and Tourism. Sydney Entertainment Centre Arena Management Pty Ltd is highly experienced in the art of venue management, and has expertly managed the Sydney Entertainment Centre since its opening in 1983. The cornerstone of Arena's success is the strength of its staff and Directors. The Board of Directors is a strong team made up of very experienced professionals. The Board and management has benefited from the entertainment industry expertise of a number of people including Kevin Jacobsen, Michael Edgley, Ted Harris, the late Jack Neary and the Grundy Organisation. Arena Management is very proud of its track record in its management of the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Arena has grown the SEC into the premier entertainment centre in Australia - confirmed by the award of Best Entertainment Centre in Australia at the Australian Live Music Awards in 2002 - and one of the best in the world. Arena Management started operating the SEC in 1983 and since then has grown the business to a level of averaging 164 events per annum and 972,110 patrons annually. This level of event activity and patronage compares very favourably with major arena venues in North America and Europe, placing the SEC at the forefront of arena venues globally. The operations of the Sydney Entertainment Centre under the Arena Management have drawn widespread praise from promoters and hirers. The venue has been described as the best in Australia and comparable to the best in the world. At his concert in April 2002, legendary performer Sir Elton John said from the stage, "This is the best venue in the world to play".
Sydney Olympic Park Authority Sydney Olympic Park Authority is responsible for managing and developing the 640-hectares that comprise the Park and maintain it as a lasting legacy for the people of New South Wales. Over 8 million people visited Sydney Olympic Park in 2007 to play sport, picnic in the parklands, ride a bicycle, attend a multicultural festival, take part in one of our many educational programs, attend a concert or watch world-class sporting events.
